Greetings! Yes, I know about Jesse and Dianah "Dicey" Brown, but not a
whole lot.
Jesse and Dicey sold land in Bedford Co. in 1797 to Samuel Oliphant, no
witnesses listed.
I'm not sure where they moved to after this.
I can tell you that this Jesse Brown is NOT Jesse Dent Brown, son of my
ancestor, Joseph Brown of Bedford County, but they are probably related
somehow. I wouldn't be surprised if Jesse and Joseph, Sr. were brothers.
Unfortunately, a whole bunch of us have been stuck on Joseph for a few
years, but we have made a little headway lately.
Jesse Dent Brown and at least 2 of his brothers moved to Cumberland
County, KY (the part which later became Clinton Co.) I am descended from
his brother Hezekiah.

Do you know where Seaton Brown moved to? I have some info. on him at
home, but I don't remember much about him.
