I have been replying individually but I guess I may as well ask all Brown researchers at one time. Would you all check my web page for connectivity to your Browns? Mine wound up in Yalobusha Co., MS but I have no idea where they came from or where the line goes beyond Samuel Brown b. 6 June 1811 d. 23 Aug 1883 married to Elizabeth Lollar and Elvira Trotter. Thanks.

Dear Judy,

Can you give some clues about which Samuel Brown you are interested in receiving information?

I have a couple of Samuel Browns on one of my pedigree charts. One (who has six siblings) was born on April 4, 1743 in Nottingham, Cecil Co., Maryland, the son of Samuel Brown (b. October 12, 1700 in Nottingham when it was still in Chester Co., PA.) and Elizabeth Harris (b. abt. 1709 in West Nottingham, Cecil Co., MD). The older of the two Samuels is the son of William Brown (b. March 29, 1658 in Puddington, Wellingbord, Northamptonshire, England (UK) and Anne Mercer (b. abt. December, 1663 in Nottingham, Chester Co., PA). This William Brown is the son of Richard Brown (b. 1630 in Puddington also) and Mary ? (b. abt. 1634 in Puddington). Richard Brown is the son of John Brown (b. 1580 in Puddington) and spouse unknown. Richard is the son of Francis Browne (b. abt. 1550 somewhere in England) and spouse unknown.
