Brown rooters:

I am looking for the parents of John Brown Sr., who married Ann Peterson (b.1806), and lived in Colora, Cecil Co., MD. The parents may be William Brown and Ann Spear, but I have not confirmed this.

John Brown Sr. and Ann Peterson had at least six children: John Jr. (b.1829), Tobias (b.1834), George T. (b.1837), Elisha (b.1839), Thomas (b.1845, and Joseph P. Brown (b.1848). I am interested in locating descendants of all these children except Tobias.

Tobias Brown (1834-1899) married Miriam H. (b.1837) Nesbitt and had eleven children: Elliot, F. (b.1856) Harvey (b.1858), George E. (b.1860), Annie (Otley) [b.1861], Lizzie O. (b.1863), Philip W.(1867), Bertha M. [b.1871] (Woodrow), Frederick S. (1875-1937), Delva C. [b.1878] (Woodrow), Earlston C. (b.1881), and Cecil C. (b.1887). I am interested in locating descendants of all these children except Frederick. I know that Bertha Woodrow is buried in West Nottingham Cemetery near Colora, MD, where she was born.
