Jacob Brown born 1797 in NJ came to North Central IL via Ohio [Zanesville
area]. Married [2nd] Mary Ann Kieth in 1825. Children: Jacob B.
b1827;Catherine b1828; Michael b1830; John b1832; Adam Wesley b1834; Benjamin
Franklin b1837; George Washington b1839; Francis Marion b1841; Peter Kieth
b1844; William Henry b1846; Zachary Taylor b1848; Lewis Fletcher b1850; Mary
M. b1854; and Martha Ann b1855. The family settled in Winnebago County IL, in
and around Cherry Valley.
