Looking for info on James M. Brown, b. c1832, d. 5/1897, age 65 years.
Wife unknown, but I've been told she may have been Native American.
Roman Catholic, possibly Irish.

Laura (d. 1919) m. 1) James Carney (bef 1897) 2) Irwin Clinton Rager
(bef 1919)
James A. (d aft 1941)
Joseph H. (1865-1927)
Obituary states-'He was an old resident of this place' [Derry Twp,
Westmoreland Co, PA] and lists no widow, just the 4 children.
I also have a newspaper clipping (undated) concerning a kitchen fire that
killed Mrs. Brown, 'an old woman' and also Engineer Huston's son.
Somehow, Mrs. Brown and James are related, but I don't know if it's his
wife or mother. This incident also occurred in Derry, PA.
Any info would be most useful.
