Virginia Fyfe,
There is much Brown information in the Clermont Co., Ohio area. I have
hundreds of Brown names in my file. (I decend from Joseph Brown, b Oct 22,
1770) Joseph was one of the early Ohio Pioneers. He had a brother by the name
of William, b Sept 7, 1768. Joseph had a son, William, b July 3, 1803. I
don't have the names of William's children.
I looked to see if I could find any of my Browns with your William's
birthdate. Sorry I couldn't, but if you haven't checked out the Clermont Co.,
area you might want to. Also, remember that prior to Ohio becoming a state
(1803) it was a part of the Northwest Teritory....when checking my lines that
I know came through or settled in Ohio prior to early 1800s I also check out
the KY records as well as VA. (Some of my Browns were also in the Bourbon
Co., KY area.)
Good luck! If I can help you send me a note!
Kathy
