Can someone up there please help me - I'm in Texas. Need birth and marriage
documentation on the following.

JEHU BROWN, son of Joseph and Mary Brown of Welch descent, was born August 19,
1824 in Green County, ILL. He served as justice of the peace and county
commissioner of Macoupin Co., ILL from 1862 to 1866 and again in 1873.
He was married April 26, 1849, in Macoupin Co. to Martha A. Mitchell.

He read law and moved to Texas in March 1874 where he represented Navarro Co.
in the Twenty-first Texas Legislature. He died in 1890.

Surely this man had brothers and sisters. Anyone out there know this line?
