Looking for information on this John Brown Sr. who may be the father of my
Leonard Brown of Kentucky. Areas of likely settlement include the counties of
Christian, Hopkins, Caldwell, and Webster.

This day, Leonard Brown came into Court and, being sworn, deposeth and
saith that Nancy Brown hath lost seventy six acres of her head right
claim in this County on the waters of Clear Creek, which she claims by
virtue of a certificate speed by the Henderson County Court in June,
1803. No. 438, the same having been taken by the superior Military claim
of ---Gray. Ordered Certified.
