Good Morning All ...
I concur with the below message - the BFGS (Brown Family Genealogical Society) is wonderful and so is Hal, its founder. I have been a member for some years now and have no reservations about referring lookups and requests to him. I think you will all find him a most helpful and willing person and he is a dedicated genealogist for the Brown surname.
Also, my out-of-state company has left, my remodeling job is getting done, and I've managed to wade through about 1/4 of the more than 400 requests for help I've gotten. To all of you who have made requests, I hope to get responses back to you within the next 3-4 weeks - God willing and the creek don't rise. I'm truly amazed at the number of researchers trying to find their Brown roots and if I find requests overlap - that is, families possibly could be related - I certainly will flag those and make sure the requesters know the others exist. Hope I stated that right - it's Monday morning, we just had tons of tornadoes go through central Florida last night and even here on the east coast we're a little soggy.

Good morning,
I would like to mention to those who are having trouble locating
members of the Brown lineages, that there is a society called
" THE BROWN FAMILY GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY" It is "a society dedicated to the
preservation of Brown family genealogy" you can email the president of this
society at
He is a wonderful person and there is a good chance he may have your family
from other society members. Tell him Addie sent you to him.
Thank you,
