I'm related to the John Abb BROWN mentioned in a recent posting. Someone found his burial place in the Burkburnett, TX cemetery. His older brother, James Isaac BROWN {8 Mar. 1872-5 July 1947}, was my grandfather. They had a younger sister, Caurrie Clifford BROWN WILLIS. Parents were Rosa Julia HILL and John A. or Abb BROWN.

I would like to find the parents and siblings of John A. BROWN Sr. He was b. ca. 1850 in GA, exact place unknown. He and Rosa Julia were m. in FL bef. 1871, then moved to Montague Co., TX before the birth of my grandfather. John A. d. in 1887 in Montague Co.

I wonder if the parents could possibly have been Absalom Rhodes BROWN & Carolyn VAUGHN?
