The following is a partial abstract from Indian Wars Widow's Pension
application for Sarah Jane MEZICK CROW (my great great grandmother). This
particular affidavit was signed at Goodwater, Alabama on March 18, 1893:

"The exact date of Martin CROW's death was July 24, 1891
and I have not remarried since his death. I name E. BROWN
age 84 and Elizabeth BROWN age 74 of Goodwater, Albama as
my two witnesses to prove this fact."

>From this abstract, E. BROWN (age 84) would have been born ca 1809.
Elizabeth BROWN (age 74) would have been born ca 1819. Who were these two
BROWN's? How were they related?
