Your post did not mention a State or locality that your Abraham BROWN lived.
I don't have too much to offer other than the following:

Robert Alexander BROWN, son of Abraham, b. 26 Jul 1798 in New Castle,
Lawrence, PA; m. Margaret WRIGHT in 1823 in PA; came to Van Wert Co., OH in
spring 1844, York Twp, 1st wife, Margaret, died in 1843, then he married Mrs.
Elizabeth Jones, a widow; occupation Blacksmith. (History of Van Wert Co.,
OH Biography of Alexander Wright Brown).
