In searching Cumberland Co.,Virginia land tax records 1825-44, I found the
following which may help someone (this is not my line, so I don't have any
more info on Judith Richardson or her parents):

1841 -- Willis BROWN, trustee for Judith RICHARDSON, orphan
147 acres on Turkey Cock Road, 12 miles NE of the courthouse

1842-1846 -- Willis BROWN, trustee for Judith RICHARDSON, orphan
53 acres of [or "adj"] Theodotea HATCHER, 10 miles NE of the courthouse

Willis is also listed for his own land:
1834-1846 -- Willis L. [or S.] BROWN 87 1/2 acres adj. Robert SANDERSON 10
miles NE of the courthouse

I copied the 1825-44 info for all BROWNs and BOATWRIGHTs and for Elizabeth
BRADLEY and can do look ups if you send a first name. I have no other data
