I am researching Elihu Brown b. 1798 NC or Tn or Sc M April 1822 Knox Co. Tenn Jane Brockus daughter of William Brockus of Grainger Co. Tenn. moved to Putname Co. Ind prior to 1830.d. April, 1862 Thorntown, Boone Co., Ind. Married 2nd in Montgomery Co., Ind Elinor Hamilton

1. Mary Jane Brown b. Tenn 1823 married about 1849 ___Largent, married 2nd Jacob Brown of Montgomery Co.,Ind son of Thomas Brown and Mary Hutchins. After 1868 Moved to Cass Co. Missouri. died after 1882.

3. Catherine Brown married about 1847 Joseph W. Pickering, lived Boone and Warren Co., Ind, moved 1869 possible Stone Co. Missouri then by 1875 at Cherokee Co., Ks
4. Joseph Allen Brown b. 1833 Married 1854 Anna E. Cox, Montgomery Co., Ind. Moved somewhere in Ia, after that, back to Boone Co by 1860, He and Anna E. Cox had following children.

Believe Elihu Brown to be related to the following Brown family due to Guyan Brown signing marriage bond, with a Wm Brown signature on the back as though was witness to marriage.

b. Alexander Brown b. ca 1755 in Va or Rowan Co., Nc. Lived in Hawkins Co 1790-1800m, perhaps longer. May have moved to Green, Dade, Poke Co, Missouri with Leeper Family about 1838.(If he is the brother of Thomas then he also served in the Rev War according to Thomas above statements)
c. Robert Brown b. 1758 Rowan Co, Nc lived with brother Thomas and father William in the Waxhaw region until overrun by the British in 1780, then moved to Mechlenberg Co., NC, May have married a LYON family member lived Hawkins, Knox, Roane, Smith and Warren Co.Tn died 1849 Warren Co Tenn. Known brother of Thomas. Also served in the Rev War.
d. William Brown b.c 1760, SC/NC May have been living anywhere. Perhaps living adjacent to Robert in Hawkins Co. May have lived in what became Grainger Co., Tenn, May have moved with a son Francis b. about 1780 to Putnam Co. Ind. May have son named Isaac b.Va May have son Elihu b. NC
no evidence of ever filling for Rev War pension. died after 1830 Putnam Co., Ind, but if he is the brother of Thomas Brown, then he was also one of the four brothers name by Thomas to be in the Rev War.
e. Rebecca Brown b. c 1762 SC married James D. Harrelson, lived in Knox Co.,Tenn until about 1820, may have moved with her son to Green Co. Tenn where she died 1849
f, Felix Brown b. c 1765, living in Hawkins Co., Tenn in 1786, married Jane Leeper c 1786, moved to Knox Co and bought 200 acres from father William Brown on Lyon Creek, in Knox Co, but on the line with Jefferson Co adj to Strawberry Plains.
g. Agnes (Ann) Brown b. 1767 married Thomas? Fulton, may have moved to Roane Co., Tenn.
h. Mary Brown b.c 1769 married Hugh Fulton d.c 1830 buried at Strawberry Plains.
i. John Brown b. after 1770, but listed on tax roles of Knox Co in 1803 with father William and brother Felix.
