I just learned Riley BROWN married my great grandfather's possible sister,
Alley DRAKE THORN, in Parke Co., IN 1841.
Riley Brown is on the 1850 Morgan Co. IN census as head of household
(according to ancestry.com).
Riley S. Brown served in the Civil War in Co. H, 69th Infantry IN, but is
not on the ancestry.com 1860 census as head of household.

Are these the same men? Does anyone have access to Morgan Co., IN census for
1850? Page 164, Adams Twp.

Ally had 2 daughters by her first husband, Andrew THORN, who apparently died
shortly after their birth, perhaps in Lawrence Co., perhaps in Parke Co., IN
She was listed as head of household with two minor females on the 1840 Parke
Co. census.

Very interested in locating this family.
