I am submitting this letter for a friend that is looking for his biological
father.

My name is WAYNE GLENN BROWN, I was born Dec.5, 1968 in Norman, Oklahoma. I
am looking for information on my biological father, DOYLE ALVIN BROWN.. I
have so little info on him. But, I will relay the story as it has been told
to me by my mother:

DOYLE ALVIN BROWN D.O.B. unknown but I think he would be in his late 50's
or early 60's now so that would have put him being born somewhere in the
area of late 1930's or early 1940's and my mother, CONNIE LOU McMASTERS b.
11-07- 194?(unsure of exact yr.),started dating around 1966. I don't know
for sure if they lived together but I do know that my mother lived in the
Midwest City/ Del Cityarea around Oklahoma City, OK.

They had 2 sons together: their first child was Robert Eugene Brown b.
11-25-1967 in Norman, OK (I think but not 100% sure of his birthplace) and
then there came me: WAYNE GLENN BROWN b. 12-05-1968 in Norman, OK. I go by
GLENN instead of Wayne, though.

I never knew my biological father, because he and my mother seperated a few
months before I was born. When I was 3 or 4 yrs old, my mother thought she
seen him at a Post Office in Oklahoma City, OK and she says I was with her
but I do not remember this incident.If it was in fact him that she saw,
that would have still put him in OK around 1971 or 1972.

My mother does know that his parents lived in North Carolina and had an
active Indian Roll number but she didn't know for sure which tribe they
belonged to. It is believed that DOYLE ALVIN BROWN returned to North
Carolina at some point but we do not know how long he stayed there because
he was believed to be living in Georgia at some time or another. I am not
sure if he was in N.C. before going to Georgia or possibly the other way
around.

Also, it is rumored (but not brought up for personal reasons within the
family) that my father and mother had a daughter before giving birth to my
older brother and that the baby girl was placed up for adoption. I do not
know how much truth there is to this but it I would love to find out if it
is fact or just a rumor that has escalated over the years. I do not feel
comfortable asking my mother about it for fear that I would make her
uncomfortable.

I know this is not a lot of concrete info to go on but it's all I have at
this time. I would certainly appreciate any info, regardless of how minute,
on all or any part of my search.Also, if anyone reading this has any advice
or ideas on where I should even start, I would be so appreciative of your
input. I have wanted to find my real father for years but didn't have the
resources or knowledge of how to go about it. I still don't have the
knowledge really but I figure I have to start somewhere. Thanks so much for
