My GGGGgrandmother was Elvira/Alvira Brown born in NY - I have not been able
to determine her parentage. I have the name of a brother because he was
living with her and her husband in the 1850 census for Cambridge, Henry Cty,
IL. Here is what information I have:

.......2 Aaron Brown b: Abt. 1822 in prob. St. Lawrence Cty, NY
.......2 Elvira Brown b: January 14, 1826 in Potsdam, St. Lawrence Cty, NY
............+Andrew Lot Straight b: September 29, 1821 in Essex, Essex Cty,
NY m: Abt. 1844 in Brockville, Steuben Cty, IN d: January 05, 1856 in
Cambridge, Henry Cty; IL
The Straight family had one son in Steuben Cty: Henry Luther which are both
given names in the Straight family. They moved on to Henry Cty, IL prior to
1848 when they had Myron Javan and those names may well be those of the
Brown family. Additionally, they had two daughters: Permelia and Lucelia.
Permelia is my GGGgrandmother and she married William Grant in Henry Cty,
IL.
