Family Tree DNA announced this morning that they are offering special promotions for dna testing until 11:59 on August 31.

The best choice for new participants is a 37 marker test for $119. (usually $189) Plus shipping $6.

I"ll list other excellent choices below.

Participants must be direct line males who still carry the family surname (Brownrigg in this case, but there are many other surname projects) There should be no known adoptions or paternity issues in the line as the male will always have the dna of the biological father.
