While we are on the subject. Has anyone yet figured out who this Margaret
Smith was who married John Wilhoit and was the mother of Aaron. She seems to
be one of those mystery people that came and went without much of a trace. I
wonder if she was one of the Michael Smith clan, since John grew up on the old
Broyles homestead which his father Adam inherited/bought from his inlaws.
That homestead was just down the hill from the Michael Smith homestead. It
would sure be nice to find some verification or refutation of that theory.
