Hi Allen! Thank you so VERY much for all of the information! You have
been a great help to me!!!
Somewhere in these children of James, and/or Eliza/Elizabeth Bartley
Brumfield, I believe my Jesse M. Brumfield, born Jan 1810, VA., might
belong. It is basically a "gut" feeling, I have no documentation to
prove anything. The naming pattern is part of it. Association is
another. Also the process of elimination. The information about
Eliza/Elizabeth having a previous Brumfield marriage is fascinating to
me. I have been looking for Jesse M.'s connection for a long time. If I
ever find it, they'll probably have to bury me, because I'll surely drop
dead from the excitement!!!!
My Jesse M. named his children:
Annie, about 1832, married Jacob Kinsley
*John Andrew, born 11 Feb 1833, first born son
*James Anderson, born 15 Oct 1835
*Sloan C., born 21 Jan 1843
Mary A., born about 1845, married Reuben P. Berry
Would you know of anyone who might have additional information on these
children??? Or their father? Well, I suppose that's a pretty "dumb"
question, because if YOU don't know, who else would there be????
Oh me, back to square one...
I greatly appreciate all the information for the children and marriages!
Thanks so much for your time and trouble!
God Bless!
