This is Tammie and my line. The unknown son has never been identified. He
was found on the 1810 census in KY and with Obidiah. There was only Obediah
and the two sons under 5 listed on that census. We have speculated that
Catherine died shortly after the birth of the two boys and believe that the
boys were twins. We think that the unknown boy died shortly after the
census as he doesn't appear on any other census record.

Obediah married a second time and moved to Illinois. He had several more
children.

It might be a good idea to go back and look at the mail archives for the
Brumfield list. There was a lot of information posted during the early
months of the list. That may help to answer some of your questions.
