Looking for information on the family of Mathew Bryson who "came west" in
1851. His wife was Martha Doane. They had children: Charles Kelly,
Marcellus, Levi, Isaac Leonidas, William, Rhodell, Laura, Adelia, Varian,
Ipha, Ida, and possibly others.

Charles Kelly Bryson was my great-great-grandfather. He was born in 1851
or 1852--his tombstone says 6-12-1852 but family history says he was born
"on the plains." Mathew & Martha Bryson settled near Brownsville, OR.
Isaac married Harriet Darland; later Charles married Catherine Armilda
"Kate" Darland, Harriet's sister.

Would really like more information about this Bryson family; I have no
idea where they "came west" from, so I don't even know where to start
looking. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
