PRESTON. – FRAMPTON. At St Mary’s Collegiate Church on Monday, 6th August 10.30 a.m., Eric William, eldest son of the late Mr T.M. PRESTON, of Cathcart, and Mrs B.R. PRESTON, to Eileen Nancy, second daughter of Mr and Mrs FRAMPTON, Port Elizabeth.

ARNOLD. – BRUNT. Gunner Sedgwick F. ARNOLD, second son of Mr and Mrs F. ARNOLD, of Kalk Bay, to June Elizabeth BRUNT, daughter of Mr and the late Mrs BRUNT, of Richmond, Surrey, on the 7th July.
DARLOW. – CODLING. Married Saturday, by the Rev. BYRNE, Vera, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. CODLING, to Samuel Leader, eldest son of the late Mr and Mrs H.J. (Harry) DARLOW.
RICHMOND. – ST QUINTON. On July 27th, at St George’s Cathedral, Cape Town, Lorraine Faith ST QUINTON, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. ST QUINTON, of Port Elizabeth, to Sgt. Humphrey John RICHMOND, eldest son of Mr and Mrs G.H. RICHMOND, of Bollen, Kent, England.

BLENCH. – DANIELS. Married 26th July, 1920, at Methodist Church, South End, Port Elizabeth, Richard William BLENCH to Florence Maud DANIELS, by Rev. WEIR, of Port Elizabeth.
DEATHS.
ADAMS. – Richard, passed away at his residence91 Queens Street, Cape Town, Tuesday, 27th July. Interred the 25th. Mourned by his family.
JACOBS. – Mr J.W. JACOBS of Perl Road, at the age of 48 years, passed away on Saturday afternoon, at 1.30 p.m.
LE ROUX. – Cornelius Martinus (Thos), sag heengegaan, Maandag, 30 Julie, 1945, aan sy wooning Robertslaan 3, in die ouderdom van 70 yaar. Eggenoot van Anna, vader van Susie, (DAVEL), Nellie, Christie, Lydia, Nancy MEYBURG en Marten. Begrafnis van oggend om 10 uur, uit die N.G. Kerk, Moedergemeente.
NILSEN. – Margaret Genging (nee ELDRIDGE) passed away at Chingola, Northern Rhodesia, while on holiday, 30th June. Sister of Mary Jane (Polly)DESFOUNTAIN. Mother of Les, Nora, Leng, Elsie and Andy.
OATES. – Constance Mary, wife of Dr. Tennyson OATES, passed away on July 30th. Service at Holy Trinity Church, at 4 o’clock to-day (Tuesday), thence the funeral will proceed to the South End Cemetery.
