family listed below.

MACKLIN History, Line of John Jacob MECHLING", compiled by
Dorothy HALLARN MERCY, 1996.

Thomas & Sarah (GRONOW) BULL's daughter,
Mary BULL, born 26 Feb 1774, died 1 Sep 1857; mar. 20 Mar 1794,
Philadelphia, to Richard ROBINSON b. Feb. 1770, d. Dec. 1828, both
buried Trinity Episcopal Churchyard, Sixth Ave., Pittsburgh PA.
"Mary BULL, after marriage to Richard ROBINSON, rode on horseback
across the Alleghany Mountains to Pittsburgh, accompanied by an old
slave who had to be
liberated, and to leave her. This slave, Aaron, had been in the family
for years, and had acted as guard over it when its head had been in
the army of the Revolution."
"Richard ROBINSON was at one time a resident of Chester Valley, PA,
as the records of St. Peter's Church show his occupation of pew 17 in
1794. It may have been his father's."
Richard & Mary (BULL) ROBINSON had a dtr.
Susan Isabella ROBINSON b. 20 Oct 1810/11, d. 3 Dec. 1890; mar. in 1829
to Christian MECHLING b. 1 Jan 1807, d. 9 Sept 1889, s/o Jacob & Mary
(DRUM-corrected from book, which listed her as DUNN). Both are buried
at Southside Cem., Butler, PA. (Line of John Jacob/ Theobald MECHLING)
Christian served in the Civil War, later became a lawyer.
