She died 25 July 1859 and was buried in Yelling. Her parents were also
buried there.

I gather from Jerry (Bull) that the Ancestral file which has Alice in it has
come up before - I have to say that I can't find any Birmingham connections
at all and the AF Joseph chr 1789 and married/died in Birmingham can't be
the same one -I have found him in censuses and other records staying and
marrying and dieing in the Cambs area
Witnesses to his marriage were Alice Bull and Thomas Ashcroft before their
wedding.

If you read this Jerry - I am getting your emails but I don't think mine is
getting through to you so I will send my full information by snailmail.

It is lucky that the Cambs Family History society are issueing lots of the
Parish records on fiche so I have been busy extracting the entries - when I
have finished I would be happy to pass the files to anyone who would like
them.

In Elsworth there is a whole lot of Bulls - I have managed to put them into
a tree - all fit together except 2 entries -

a burial 22 August 1784 for a Sarah Bull of Rampton widow.

Joseph Bull buried 21 August 1778 of Rampton Farmer.

I have a hunch these are the parents of William of Cottenham born 1755 -
Jerry's ancestor and my Joseph.

The IGI has a Joseph and Sarah Papworth marrying in Cambridge in 1740 -
Joseph is "of Papworth" - I have checked out Papworth St.Agnes so I think
the answer is in Papworth Everard - hopefully I can tie them all up
together.

If anyone would like any of my research I'd be happy to share it if you want
to contact me off list

Angela

Sorry this is a bit long winded for my first posting !
