What county was Florence father listed as being born in KY?

I am guessing that the George Bull I am looking for would have been born
between 1830 and 1845. His son Alfred was born in Indiana about 1866. I
finally found a volunteer in Iowa, where his daughter, Florence Ruth Bull
was married to my great grandfather. George is listed as father on the 1880
or 1885 census(don't have it in front of me), but that is the only info I
found on him. Florence is listed as 17 yrs. old, living with Alfred, and 3
other sisters. Do not know what happened to the parents. Quite a mystery.
Family lore has it that we are somehow connected to Ole Bull, the violinist,
but can't see it. In the 1900 and 1920 census, Florence's father is listed
as born in Kentucky, and her mother in Ohio. It took me a long time to find
that out. Seems to be a brick wall that is hard to find a crack in.
