Hello Henrike,

This will not be of use to you, at least now, but my
BULL family was from Finkenthal, Mecklenburg-Schwerin.
According to an online map, that's about 25 miles to
the east of Thulendorf. They were in Finkenthal as
early as about 1820, but because the BULL name does
not appear in many church records before that, I
wonder if they were somewhere else before then.

You might want to see about ordering microfilm from
the nearest Family History Library.
