Hi -
I have been waiting to post an inquiry to the Bunker List until I would have
more time to work on my Bunker line - Since it appears that I will never have
the time I would like to have I guess I might as well post anyway.
I am looking for any info on:
George Bunker - (possibly born Dec. 2, 1849 in Wisconsin)
died March 9, 1918 in Decatur twp (Van Buren Co.),
Michigan
married Laura Eaton (Lotta) Noyes April 6, 1882 in
Chicago, IL
They had one child (my grandmother) Gertrude
Bunker born June
12, 1886 in Chicago.
The family had lived at 4848 W. Harrison in Chicago
before moving
to a small farm in Decatur Twp. MI in 1904 (his
doctors had advised
him for health reasons to move to the country).
While in Chicago
he had worked as an auditor for either (or perhaps
at different times
for both) the Millwaukee-St.Paul RR or the Chicago
Northwestern
RR.
His fathers name may have been Charles.
Thanks for any help,
Jerry Carne
Lansing, MI
