I just got the death certificate of HOLLIS BUNKER'S 2nd wife, ELIZABETH. She was b 5-8-1843 in Sutton Junction, Quebec, Canada. Her parents were HORACE SWEET (SUEET, SUERT, SWERT HARD TO READ THE WRITING) and WELTHA CAPRON, both born in Canada. Elizabeth d. 11-6-1916 in Greene, IA and is buried in Bristow, IA. Does anyone out there have anything on her or people with those names? Do any of our Canadian cousins have any idea where Sutton Junction is or was? I sure would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Supposedly she was the love of Hollis' life and was supposed to be his sister-in-law prior to their marriage. They were both widowed and married sometime between 1910 and 1916. They may have married in Canada. I haven't found a record of their marriage in IA. Thanks.
