Dear Gil, Harold, and everyone:

I am having trouble trying to enter this info into the computer
datafile. The following is what I find:

U-1 William died before October 1767 so he would not have been the
William listed in the Pencader Hundred census UNLESS it was just a
listing of his estate.
U-2 William died between October 1767 and Jan 1768, so the same
comment applies.
U-2-II William, minor in 1777, died Feb 1787, so he would not have
been the William listed.

No other William is listed as the son of any of the other Bunkers,
UNLESS there was a William, son of U-5 John (son of U-1), who had
several sons, none of whose names are known. John, however, married ca
1785, so probably none of his sons would have been old enough to have
been a land holder in 1790 at the time of the census.

We have another branch, U-20 William who fits the dates, however. He was
born 1755-1760 and died 19-25 Mar 1803 and lived in Pencader Hundred
("made subscriptions to Pencader, DE, Presbyterian Church 1784 and 1789
and 1790. Listed in reconstructed 1790 census Pencader Hundred DE; on
Pencader tax list 1798."
