Subject: Fly the Bunker Hill flag tomorrow

Hello cousins,
There were no winners of the Bunker Hill contest,
although one cousin guessed the USS Bunker Hill during WW II.
Close, but no prize.
It was the carrier's last battle, fought on July 25, 1973, as she was being towed
to a scrapyard at 4 knots. A bulk carrier collided with the BH and suffered a
large amount of damage; 1/2 of her bridge deck was demolished.
The Bunker Hill, now decomissioned, suffered only minor scrapes on her hanger deck,
forward on the starboard side.
