I frequently send out links on this list that I obtain from Dick Eastman's
newsletter. In the latest newsletter (the free one) there is an article
about using credit cards on the computer and elsewhere that many of you may
find interesting. You might be amazed too.
Another link I found interesting was
<http://www.stlcathcem.com/default.aspx> where there is a list of burials
in the St. Louis cemeteries. Knowing that some of my husband's ancestors
must be buried there, I searched for Richard (his last name) and got lots of
hits because it picked out all the people with the first name of Richard
too. However, it also showed burials in 1700, which is something you do not
find often. Click on burial search on the right side of the page if you are
looking for St. Louis burials. Remember, this was a stopping off place for
people going West in the 1800's and there is a possibly that a lost ancestor
died on the way and is buried in one of these cemeteries.
Good hunting.
Bette
