Here are maps of 62 towns in Scotland that were surveyed between 1847-1985.

By the way, Ancestry.com has put the images of the 1880 census online along
with the index.

If you are not a member of Ancestry, you can get the 1880 census index free
along with the 1881 England and Canada census indexes free at the Family
Search site of LDS. They have the images too now but you have to pay to
view the images unless you are a member of the church.
