As usual, Bette has come up with a wonderful site.
I was very fortunate that none of my family died during WWII. My father was
in the South Pacific, in the SeaBee's, on a little island called Treasury,
part of the Solomon chain. Did have an uncle that was a POW after the Battle
of the Bulge, he stayed in Germany for several years after the war working
for the OSS, think that's what it was called.
