Here are a coupld websites that list ships, sailors and passengers for
1497-1763 to Canada.

One problem. They are written in French. However, if you are persistent
and look for a name you can copy out the information when you find the name
and then get it translated. If you are trying to do genealogical research
in any language foreign to you, you should get a dictionary and learn the
words for born, baptized, married, died, buried, husband, wife, son,
daughter, mother, father. With just these words you can recognize that you
are looking at a vital record and copy it for later translation. You don't
have to be fluent in the language to do genealogical research.
