The way the list is set up now all replies go to the list. When Gil and I
answer a query sent to the list we frequently send an attachment with a
pedigree or other report about your ancestors. Attachments cannot be sent
to the list.

Now, if we want to send an attachment, you either have to include a cc. to
yourself in your message to the list so that we can get your address, or we
have to contact Doug to get your email address, or we have to send a message
to the list asking you to send us a message off the list so we can send the
attachment.

The question is which would you prefer? Would you prefer sending a cc. to
yourself before you send your question? Would you prefer that we send a
reply to the list asking you to contact us off the list so we can send you
the information in an attachment? Or would you prefer experiencing a delay
so that we can find your email address before sending a reply?
