JOHN BURNETT and ELIZABETH _________ of Bedford Co, Virginia

Several marriage records in FRANKLIN CO, VIRGINIA show two sons belonging to
this JOHN BURNETT & wife ELIZABETH of BEDFORD CO, VA.

1) JOHN BURNETT, b. 1810-1819 in Bedford Co, Va; living 1850 to 1880 in
Franklin Co, Va; His first wife was THEODOSIA _____, b. 1823 and died by
1860. John m. 2/ 5 Dec 1879 to EMILY PLIMALE, age 42, single, born in
Franklin Co, dau of Valentine Plimale & May. John states at this time that
he was the son of JOHN & BETSY BURNETT, b. in Bedford County, a widower, age
60 [b.1819].

2) SAMUEL BURNETT, b. about 1812 in Bedford Co, Va where he was living in
1850 and maybe 1860. He m. 1/ 1832 to JANE CHAPMAN; 2/ 1866 to DELILA
TRENT; 3/ 1873 to LAVENIA DELONG. He states on the last two marriages that
he is son of JOHN & ELIZABETH BURNETT. (see FRANKLIN CO & BEDFORD CO, VA
