Bristow Township; they married there 1 Oct 1851 by J.C. Durham. Bondsman
was John Tigret. John was shown as age 50, born about 1830 in Tn; Mary J.
was 38, born about 1842 in Ky. Their children listed in 1880:

1) FANNIE H. BURNETT, age 17, born about 1863 Ky.

2) JAMES WOOD BURNETT, b. 1865/6; m. 20 Nov 1889 in Simpson Co, Ky, to ADDIE
SPEARS, b. 8 Mar 1869; d. 1 Nov 1962, daughter of *George Washington Spears
& Matilda Agnes Carouthers [see below].
