If you have not done so, For earlier connections, you might want to check on
Edgefield Co, SC. The surname Burnett is mine in Edgefield Co., and the
Lipscomb name is an Edgefield Co. name as well. Lipscombs are not mine.
However, Charles R. Andrews, III <> wrote an article as
follows: "Genealogy Roots & Branches, Old Ninety Six Chapter, SCGS, PO Box
3468, Greenwood Co, SC," Vol 23, Issue 3, Fall 2002, Article by Charles R.
Andrews, III, p. 8-17. This article contains massive amounts of info. on the
Lipscombs.
