Somewhere (perhaps a DAR pedigree that was forwarded along?) someone
I saw made that conclusion. However, I know of no evidence to prove or
disprove that hypothesis whatsoever.
One other comment I forgot; the Ann Turner who married (a) William Burt
had a brother Henry Turner who also doesn't appear in the above will
abstract.
There are a couple other Thomas Turner wills in North Carolina that are
in the right time frame to fit the father of Ann Turner. I did not,
however, have time to check them out (much less any that died
intestate). You can find them in "North Carolina Wills - A Testator's
Index" or I will forward them to the list tonight. Might be worth
checking out.
