Good morning,

My Lydia BUTLER Guynup, b a 1813, Beekmantown, Clinton County, New York, m.
John Guynup, had large family in Saranac, Clinton County. Only Butler in
1820 and 30 cenesuses (and does have a female in household right age to be
Lydia) is James Butler, b 1789-90. In 1837, he sold his land and with wife
Polly disappeared. Not in 1840 census. Where did they go? Is he part of
North Hero, Vermont Butler clan?

Can anyone recommend Butler genealogy that covers Vermont Butlers? (Have
information from Edith Harmon book. Also have copy of small Butler genealogy
pamphlet done by Marvin Butler in 1910. Covers family of Captain Benjam
Butler of North Hero (b 1759).
