Thanks to a very observant Butler cousin (Wallace) two of us on the list
have been able to make a connection! Wallace noticed that Regina and I had
similar postings - however I somehow missed Regina's posting. Wallace was
kind enough to email me the similarity with our lines and sent me Regina's
email address - he also wrote to Regina and told her about our similarities
and gave her my email address. And he was correct! Regina and I share the
Benjamin Butler and Rachel Childers/Childress line. She's descended from
one of their children and I'm descended from another one of their children.
So . . . in hopes that someone else can make the connection, I'm reposting
the Butler and Childers/Childress line below. (I have not yet added Regina's
information to my line. I'll do it this weekend.)
