I am searching for information on Daniel Butler, b. abt. 1800 in GA. He received land in the 1832 Cherokee Land
Lottery in GA. He lived in Cherkoee Co, GA, in the part of the county that became Milton Co., and is now Fulton
Co. He appears in the 1840 Census in Cherokee, 1850 in Milton, and 1860 in Milton. I cannot find him in 1870, but
the film is quite faded.

At any rate, he died 6 Sept. 1878 and left no will. His son, John Butler, was named administrator of the estate. It
appears that his wife, Elizabeth Ann Butler had already died.

I have a hunch based on land transactions, that Elizabeth Ann might have been a Farmer.

Does anyone have any information on this line?
