Hello all.

I have no idea what I have done that has upset people, other than to ASSIST a
fellow genealogist with information about a service/book that she was using.
I did NOT tell her it was BAD information, I told her to use it cautiously
because of the history of that firm.
If you want to use the information as gospel, go ahead, but I was only trying
to be helpful in warning her of the danger.
I joined the list to learn about my Butler ancestors. One of the first posts
I saw was regarding this issue and I responded.

But one person on this list is blaming me for a great deal of chaos, and I
have only been on the list for 2-3 days.
I am a listowner of several lists and have been involved in the Rootsweb and
genealogy community on line for many years. I have never intentionally hurt
or insulted anyone.

I will leave and apologize if I have caused some sort of problem by offering
help with a questionable source. Guess only some of us are deemed worthy of
being cousins. Maybe I am glad I am not counted among them wit hthe way I
have seen people being treated here. Not just me, but several people.
