In "Early Families of Lancaster, Massachusetts" by Rev., F. Lewis (Lancaster, 1941), Abijah is not listed as one of Joseph's children. There is an Abijah, b.1786, son of Israel Butler If the latter of interest, I can provide more information. Best regards.
