Hi, I am new to this list and having a hard time searching ancestors. I am looking for a Myrtle BUTLER, born 02-1903 in Marion County AR, she died in Kern County California in 1988 and her obituary stated three surviving sisters but no names. Her death certificate named her father as Monroe BUTLER, born in TN. I cant seem to find him. Her death certificate named her birth in OK, I am pretty sure that was incorrect, her obituary listed Marion County, AR and she later moved to OK, her son, my grandfather, listed his place of birth as Eldon, OK, 1920, just missed the census, however, Ancestry.com is missing the file for Eldon in the Cherokee nation. I would love to find this family, siblings and parents. She married twice, first to Jeff (Jefferson) Wade of AR around 1920's between AR and OK, then moved to CA about 1940. Jeff Died 5 years later, she remarried Unknown OVERSTREET after. He also died, she died a widow. Is Monroe a middle name? Anyone know this family???? HELP PLEASE!!! THANK YOU, Marjie
