I would appreciate any information anyone has on Ford Butler, born 1839 AL or MS, died 14 Oct 1864, Civil War Prisoner Camp at Rock Island, IL.

Ford Butler married Mary Lucinda Smith about 1860 in MS.

Children of Ford Butler and Mary Lucinda Smith:

Margaret Jane Butler, born 11 Nov 1862, in AL or MS, died Oct/Nov 1898, Robertson County, TX.
John Albert Butler, forn 1 Sep 1863, MS, died 3 Mar 1944 Taylor County, TX.

I have two older Ford Butlers, (1) born 1776, GA, died 1817, GA and (2) born 1802, GA, died 1860, AL, but I cannot make the connection to my Ford Butler.
