Elizabeth:
I have the following Butlers known only as "From Balti or Eastern Shore" in notes from my mother:
John Wesley BUTLER d. Ohio, 1853 m. Sarah Ann FISHER.
The birth order of these children is not known:
1. Sarah Jane (Jennie) b. 26 Feb. 1846/47 m. Mason Alexander YOUNG in Lytlesburg, Muskingum Co. OH on 3 Dec. 1869. They farmed in Cedar Co. IA for a few years
before moving to Buffalo Co. NE in 1873. My g-grandmother Jennie died in Grand Island, NE, in 1931.
2. John
3. Columbus ("Lum")
4. Mary
5. Annie
6. Bob
I don't know when or where these Butlers arrived on these shores, or where they lived in MD. We assume they lived in or near Zanesville OH.
