Mary Elizabeth Butler was born on May 4, 1844 in Paulding Co. GA. She
died on July 24, 1882, in Douglas Co. Ga. She was the daughter of John
Davis Butler and Mary Woods. She married Loderick Roberson on September
14, 1863 in Paulding Co. GA. They had the following children:

1) William Presley Manning 1865-1893.
2) Francis Elizabeth Manning 1866-1964, m. Stonewall Jackson
Leathers.
3) Thomas Allen Manning 1868-1933, m. Cora Ella Hancock, sister of
Julia Ellen Hancock, and daughter of Andrew Jackson Hancock.
4) Nancy Jane Manning 1870-
5) Ephraim Harrison Manning 1873-1916, m. Julia Ellen Hancock.
6) Mary Luticia Manning 1875-1922, m. Charlie Carroll.
7) Idella Manning 1878-1966, m 1. Thomas J. Bearden and 2, John
Samples.
8) Georgia Ann Manning, 1881-1882.

Would like to correspond with any descendants of Mary Elizabeth Butler
and Loderick Roberson Manning. Will be glad to share what family
