NORTH BRANCH - Services for a Lapeer County man fatally injured Friday in an automobile accident will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rich Bible Church near Mayville with burial in West Deerfield Cemetery.
Frank E. Butler, 78, of 8121 Falkenbury Rd, Deerfield Township, died Friday in the Lapeer County General Hospital.
His body is at his home. Arrangements are being handled by the Blackmore & Tubbs Funeral Home, Mayville.
He turned his car left in front of another automobile at the corner of M 24 and Burnside Road Lapeer County sheriff's deputies said.
The second driver, Mrs. Eleanor M. Johnson, Gladwin, was taken to the Lapeer County General Hospital. She has been transferred to a hospital in Detroit where she was reported in fair condition today.
The accident occurred about 2:45 p.m. deputies said. There was one witness. Both drivers were alone.
Mr. Butler was a lifelong resident of Lapeer County. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Jasper Currell, Mayville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
